Marks Insurance Agency was formed in 1930 by C. Aubrey Marks in Apalachicola, Florida. After college and a stint in the Navy, C.A. Marks, Jr. came into the Agency and became the owner in 1956. In 1976, after college, C.A. “Chuck” Marks, III came into the Agency and became the owner in 1979. The Agency was incorporated in 1980 with Chuck Marks as the President, an office he still holds. On February 1, 2006, the Agency acquired a small agency in Tallahassee, Florida and now maintains a branch office with Nathan W. Marks as Vice President and branch manager.
